Master’s eligibility requirements: English proficiency
To be eligible for the master’s program, you need to submit proof that your proficiency in English equals at least a C1 level, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), or proof of equivalent proficiency in English. In order to establish that you meet this requirement, the proof must either explicitly state that your English proficiency is equal to at least a C1 CEFR level, or should at least be verifiable (such as for internationally recognized language tests). Examples of valid or non-valid language proof are listed in the table below.

Online “examinations” that were conducted without online proctoring and without ID check (i.e. without validation that the person who took the exam is the person who is subsequently listed on the exam certificate), for example the EF-SET test. |

Proof of your proficiency in German is not required for your application to the master’s program. However, basic knowledge of German is helpful for living and cultural exchange.
Finally, please note that you need to upload the proof of your English proficiency by March 31, 2022, 23:59h CEST. According to the admission regulations, any information submitted after that date cannot be considered.
